The adjacent pictures show some of the stages of restoration of a pair of antique 'Lion Chairs' lovingly restored by us here at Burdett & Rawling.
 
Every Joint needed to be re-glued and three new feet had to be manufactured including brass ferrule castors.

The upholstery was done authentically and was traditionally hand sprung and stitched up using finest horsehair padding.

We particularly enjoy antique restoration work,  and that feeling of satisfaction from a job well done!
